The Crow's Nest

 Life is short...no matter how long you live, it just is not enough time to do everything, learn everything, and see everything. Now that I am turning sixty-four, I look back and wish I had done so many things differently. Not really any regrets, just thoughts on how I could have avoided some sadness and made more happiness. I imagine many people my age feel the same. I guess that is why "live and learn" is a cliché.  Well, here I am, nearly sixty-four and working on what I suppose will be my last home. I bought the old 1940s house about two years ago, but with COVID and other situations, I only started remodeling in September of 2022.  I decided to name the house "The Crow's Nest" because I am much like a crow, twinkling, shiny objects catch my eye and I gather them up and store them in my home. I have big dreams for the house and I hope they all come to fruition. With all the many objects I have collected over the years, I plan to make a nest filled with treas...
